NEW YORK: The two hundred and fifty-third entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
A redundant quarry in North Cave could be converted into a retirement community with almost 100 homes set around two lakes.
The homes for over-55s would also include a community and leisure centre open to all residents, including a café, a gym and a swimming pool.
A planning application has been submitted by Market Weighton company Cave Lakes Ltd to build 93 New England-style homes on the site, off the Newport to North Cave road.
