NEW YORK: The two hundred and sixteenth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
Plans to build more than 60 new social housing units have been submitted by the Guernsey Housing Association in recent weeks.
One of the applications is to demolish the old Warry’s Bakery and replace it with 20 units of residential accommodation.
Another one of the sites earmarked for development is the old Edgebaston Vinery site in St Martins, which is nearby to another large social housing development.
The plans for this area are slightly larger than at Warrys, with 24 units of residential accommodation earmarked for the site.
