MIAMI: Plans for a new development on the site of a former hotel are moving forward.
The hotel will be demolished within the next three weeks. Plans for the development still remain under wraps but the developer says it received a positive response to an initial proposal at individual meetings with key stakeholders, including local residents.
The developer has however conceded a need to focus on a smaller boutique hotel, a beverage and food outlet and assisted care living properties.
