But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

426: A senior nurse has been struck off for multiple failings at a skilled nursing home she managed for six years.

She was found guilty of managing a home where disposable wipes were washed and re-used, hot water was lacking, and where carers were warned not to complain about management…
