Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophy1NEW YORK: The seven hundred and ninety-eighth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

Mayor Bill Finch recently joined Andrew Banoff, president and CEO of Jewish Senior Services, and council members on a tour of the construction site for the $75 million Jewish Senior Services campus, a skilled nursing home facility that is expected to bring 800 jobs to Bridgeport.

“This is one of the largest projects in Bridgeport’s recent history. It’s moving from out of town into Bridgeport and bringing with it 800 jobs along with nearly 300 construction jobs,” said Finch. “Jewish Senior Services have a long history of providing state of the art facilities that will ensure our elderly are well cared for while also creating more jobs and services for our entire community”…
