Aged care language being altered by ignorance and error

MIAMI: The tragedy for language purists are the changes being imposed by ignorance and error.
Repeated error morphs into common usage and assumes the cloak of correctness.
A generation Y grand-daughter was assisting her frail, and slightly anxious octogenarian gran to hesitantly board an aircraft.
“Don’t worry gran… as soon as we get to our seats, I get you one of your “aged” inflammatories!”
