NEW YORK: The seven hundred and seventy ninth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
A local developer is proposing turning the former Mountain View assisted-living facility at 164 Hanson Ridge Road into a 16-unit multigenerational apartment building.
7E Properties, which is owned and operated by Lionel Sevigny, will present its proposal to the Sanford Planning Board.
7E Properties purchased the facility from the then Town of Sanford in 2012. By then, the facility had closed and had no longer housed senior citizens receiving assisted-living care.
