But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

405: An elderly patient at a skilled nursing home has been hospitalised following an attack, allegedly by a fellow resident.

It’s understood an 80-year-old blind man violently assaulted another resident at the skilled nursing home.
