NEW YORK: The six hundred and sixty-first entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
An estimated $175 million hospital is planned for Michigan City and should be complete in 2017.
Mishawaka-based Franciscan Alliance, a Catholic health care organisation with 13 hospitals and 20,000 employees, has considered building a new campus for more than a year.
Construction, led by Franciscan Alliance subsidiary Tonn & Blank, will begin in the spring on a 70-acre site at the northwest corner of Interstate 94 and Indiana 421.
The new building will contain up to 120 private inpatient rooms, outpatient services, emergency services, diagnostics services and a medical office building.
