NEW YORK: Plans have been submitted to construct a 710-bed multigenerational student accommodation complex. The proposal is part of a wider scheme designed to create more than 1,500 jobs.
The development will represent a “significant investment” in the future of the city.
The accommodation will comprise 91 studio apartments and 619 cluster-style flats. The building will also include a gym, study areas and amenity space.
The wider Regeneration Implementation Plan includes plans for a hotel, commercial space, apartments, office, retail units, as well as social housing.
