NEW YORK: A brand new study on memory retention — involving several universities — has helped scientists to better understand how nerve cells behave when our brain records thoughts into memories; at least, how we adapt to places and people. The study shows that an area of the brain called the medial temporal lobe is responsible for this process of memory formation.
Of all the benefits, the study should definitely help experts to learn more not just about memory retention but also, perhaps, memory loss.
