Can chocolate and fish help cure dementia?

PHILADELPHIA: Chocoholics are being encouraged to take part in a multi-million dollar research project spanning three continents which could cast new light on how to prevent dementia.

Dementia occurs when people’s brain cells start to die and the blood flow to the brain reduces.

Fish oil is packed with Omega 3 and dark chocolate contains flavonoids, both 
of which are good for the cells. Professor Minihane said Omega 3 acts as the building block while flavonoids repair and regenerate the brain cells.
