NEW YORK: The five hundred and thirty-first entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
Construction on a new 72,300 square-foot facility is expected to begin later today and will continue for 13 months. The skilled nursing home will consist of three different types of apartments: 25 independent living units, 20 assisted living units and 18 memory care units.
The building will have three stories, though from the front it will appear to be two. The outward design of the building will be one “familiar in a New England setting,” Project Manager Eldon Munson said.
The building was designed by EGA Architects of Newburyport, Mass.
