NEW YORK: The five hundred and seventeenth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
A scheme by AHMM for 272 new homes on the site of the former factory in south-east London which built telegraph cable has been given planning by Greenwich council.
The $189 million transformation of the former telegraph factory near to the Millennium Dome will be delivered by a joint venture between Cathedral Group, since last spring owned by Development Securities, and Weston Homes.
The site has previously been home to a gunpowder store, a sail and rope factory and was used by a whaling fleet before being taken over by the Telegraph Construction & Maintenance Company Works.
