NEW YORK: The five hundred and fifteenth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

A rendering of Philhaven, a 50-unit supportive housing development set to open next year in Wheeling, is available below (see picture).

Philhaven will offer housing to residents who are disabled, mentally ill or formerly homeless, said Daveri Vice President for Development Jessica Berzac.

Susan Cowen, CEO of Kenneth Young Center, said residents will receive various means of support, whether help getting to a doctor’s visit, finding employment opportunities or moving back into the community.

Tenants will pay 30 per cent of their income for rent.
