Seniors apartment hotel set to be rolled out

BOSTON: A for-profit provider is nurturing the emergence of the apartment hotel concept.

More than 130 rooms will be incorporated into the new ‘aparthotel’.

The initial proposals planned for an ex-school site were rejected little more than a year ago as planners sought to preserve the site for housing.

But a planning inspector has ruled there was also a need for ‘aparthotel’ accommodation and gave the plans permission…
