Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

NEW YORK: The four hundred and seventeenth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

Canterbury Woods is finalizing a contract with a Rochester construction firm to build its new campus at the former Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital.

The organization will hire Lecesse Construction Co. Inc. for the $30 million project, which includes building a six-story residential facility with 53 independent living units and five assisted living units on a 1.4-acre parcel in Buffalo, according to Rob Wallace, C.E.O.
