NEW YORK: The four hundred and fifteenth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
Patel Taylor and John Thompson & Partners (JTP) have revealed plans for 374 new affordable homes as part of the fourth phase of the redevelopment of Battersea Power station.
The developer, the Malaysian-backed Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC), had been under fire to increase the number and speed up the delivery of affordable housing on the south-west London site.
Patel Taylor’s plans set out how 177 affordable homes will be delivered by 2019 with a further 197 completing in 2022.
Out of the 374 new homes built as part of this so-called Phase 4A 258 will be released at ‘discounted rental’ and 116 put on the market at a ‘discounted’ price.
