Study confirms growing seniors homeless numbers

SAN FRANCISCO: A new study by a University master’s student has found that a disproportionate number of seniors are staying in emergency shelters for extended periods of time.
Hannah Rabinovitch (pictured) conducted the longitudinal study on emergency shelter use patterns. The study examined nearly 46,000 shelter records and tracked 4,332 individuals.
